Jeff honed his craft as a Certified Financial Planner with one of Canada’s largest investment firms with a focus on retirement, tax and estate planning, and specialized in working with incorporated business owners and professionals. His strategic planning includes individual pension plans for business owners, risk management and the placement of life insurance and tax deferred investments in the corporation.
He has completed the Chartered Investment Manager designation (CIM) and has also been awarded the prestigious designation of Fellow of the Canadian Securities Institute (FCSI). Recognized as the highest honour in the financial services industry, the FCSI is given only to industry professionals whose superior training and experience exemplify excellence.
Jeff graduated from Wilfrid Laurier University with an Honours degree in music and French literature and went on to do performance studies at Mohawk College in Hamilton. He completed his MBA in International Business Studies at the University of Windsor and the University of Guadalajara in Mexico and was project coordinator on a BBC Documentary on Free Trade.
